What a
Difference HTML Makes
Why
is an HTML email better than a plain text email? Because HTML
allows information to be organized and presented in a more effective
way than plain text. Also, with HTML you can include images,
graphics, logos, fonts and colors. The result is an email
that is more engaging, easier to read, and more useful to your customer.
The
example below illustrates the difference between Text and HTML email
formats.
Before:
Our client, Entrain, is a 6-piece, percussion/jam/rock/horn band
from Martha's Vineyard. They use email to stay in touch with their
fans - producing a monthly email newsletter that contains updated
tour dates and news. Prior to partnering with Email Solutions
Group, Entrain only sent plain text emails (see below). They
delivered a message, but didn't maximize the benefits of HTML.
After:
We worked with Entrain to design an HTML email template that was
more representative of their brand and did a better job of organizing
and presenting information. We wanted to include photos and
links to merchandise and just make the email more fun overall. The
result is the HTML template below.
HTML emails have more impact than plain text emails.
